Alternative Languages with the TiK Strings System

TiK allows for easy use of other languages with its versatile strings (strs) system. You may notice that in the global tik directory and in each user's .tik directory, there are subdirectories called 'strs' that contain language files. Adding a language to TiK is as simple as downloading a .strs language file and placing it in one of those directories, depending on whether you want the language to be system-wide or not. The languages are selectable through the tikpre file or through the Tools -> General Options -> Language menu.
